Locution Systems Voice Technology
The
automated dispatching portion of Locution Systems products is
based on concatenated text-to-speech technology — the "Mercedes"
of speech technology. Simply put, a text-based message from the
Computer-Aided
Dispatch (CAD) system automatically is translated into a dispatch
that's actually spoken by the computer. Locution System's
automated dispatching system features a pleasant, accent-neutral
voice that sounds incredibly natural and like a real human voice.
Of
note, the CADVoice® system requires that all commands, incidents,
and street information are pre-recorded, and then stored in an audio
database. Then, once a 911 call is received, the CADVoice® system
then assembles these pre-recorded "word bites" into natural-sounding
voice dispatches that are clear and easy to understand. |
