Locution Systems’ CADVoice® Fire Station Alerting System is a modular system that provides automated 911 dispatching for fire & EMS; zoned dispatching for multi-unit fire stations; and fire station alerting & control technology. Locution Systems’ fire station alerting offerings include:

Automated Dispatching:
This part of the system separates the act of speaking the initial 911 dispatch (fire & EMS only) from the dispatcher. Instead, CADVoice® receives the dispatch data from the CAD system, accesses the CADVoice® audio database built for that department, and then vocalizes the initial 911 dispatch in a natural-sounding, clear, accent-neutral female voice.
Automated Dispatching Benefits:
Locution Systems’ automated dispatching technology can send multiple dispatches to multiple fire stations simultaneously, which virtually eliminates call stacking during times of high volume, and allows a dispatching team to easily handle more calls with the same staff.
Zoned Dispatching:
With Locution Systems’ zoned dispatching, dispatches sent to a multi-unit fire stations can be routed precisely, directly, and only to the unit that’s responding to the call – letting everyone else sleep through the night.
Fire Station Alerting:
Fire station alerting offerings from Locution Systems include:
  • Precisely controlled fire station lighting (egress lights, bunk area lights that can softly ramp up to ease responders awake, etc.);
  • Visual alerting product (LED reader boards, LED displays, and unit color indicators);
  • Audio alerting products (Special “heart saver” tones that alert but don’t startle first responders); and
  • Fire station control technologies (Automatic shut-off of a gas stove, and automatic opening & closing of apparatus bay doors)
