Giving Back

The Locution Systems staff has worked for many years to bring the company and its technology to where it is today.  We’re grateful for our successes, and we give back in many ways.  Here are highlights about how Locution Systems gives back to the public safety arena, and the communities that we serve.

Our Technology Saves Lives. For starters, we help make the lives of public safety dispatchers, and fire and EMS personnel safer and healthier by reducing their stress with automated dispatching and fire station alerting technology.  Just as important, our technology actually helps save lives by speeding up response times to fires and medical emergencies.

Supporting Departments and The Communities They Serve
Locution Systems supports both the departments where our systems are installed and the public safety industry, in general.

Industry Conferences:  Each year, we attend many public safety conferences (APCO, FDIC, FRI, and ICC) to share knowledge about automated dispatching and automated fire station alerting technology, and how these technologies can improve response times and reduce stress for dispatchers and responders.  We also share information by speaking at industry conferences.

Fallen Firefighters Program:  When tragedy strikes fire departments where our systems are installed, we help the families of the fallen firefighters by making donations to the Fallen Firefighters Fund. Our donations are earmarked specifically for college tuition funds for the children of the firefighters who have been killed in the line of duty.
