Locution Systems, Inc. Adds New Software/Field Engineer

Locution Systems announces Joe Tuck has joined the Locution team to provide software development and customer support services GOLDEN, Colo., June 29, 2010 – Locution Systems, Inc., a provider of advanced, automated 911 dispatching for fire/EMS, zoned dispatching for multi-unit fire stations, and fire station alerting and control technologies, today announced that Joe Tuck has joined the Locution Systems team. Specifically, Tuck will provide software development, customer support and field engineering support services, as well as assist existing Locution Systems customers with software upgrades.

Mr. Tuck will be based in Austin, Texas, and he has more than 20 years of experience in software engineering and customer support. He has extensive experience as a software and product engineer for a variety of companies including Freescale Semiconductor, Micro Control Co., Texas Instruments, and more.

Tuck holds strong expertise in testing, hardware, software, networking, engineering support, and application training for end users, and one particular area of specialty is product and system testing in field locations and environments.

Tuck’s technical background includes: analog electronics, linear integrated circuits, advanced electrical networks, combinational and sequential digital logic, advanced microprocessors, real-time micro-computer systems, Assembly language, PLC Ladder Logic, BASIC, PERL, REXX, Python, C and C++ programming languages, Object Oriented software design, Graphical User Interface (GUI) design, semi-conductor reliability and burn-in, computer memory Accelerated & System Soft error testing, process control systems, electric power & machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, electrical and mechanical drafting, technical communications and technical writing.

Tuck graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology in 1988.
